Tim Hornsby, Office Staff

Tim Hornsby works at GSBM as a volunteer maintaining the mailing list and to aid in the preparation for mail outs. At Victory Baptist Church, he is the stand-in lay speaker for children's church and a member of the missions committee. His vision is to be available to GSBM for anything that he can do. He also wants to bring young people to an understanding that it is now more important than ever to be saved and to live a life that is pleasing to our Lord and Savior.

He was born in Tennessee and raised in Georgia. He graduated from high school at BRHS in Alexander City, Alabama in 1969. He has one year of college at Alexander City Junior College as it was known at the time. He lacks five courses at Tallapoosa Institute of Theology to finish his four year degree there. He has previously been involved in law enforcement and construction.

He was married and has two wonderful daughters, two step-sons, and eight grandchildren. His wife, Glenda, died in December 2004. His second marriage to Glenda could not have been anything short of the Lord putting the right person there for him. The Lord loaned her to Tim for fifteen plus years, and he continues to thank God for her.
