We made it to Florida. Praise the Lord! Where do we even begin to thank you for all the time you gave us last week. The mechanic that you put us in contact with was such a blessing and did a great job. Please continue to pray for us as we pray for you. If there is anything that we can do for you, please let us know.

Missionaries to Slovakia with BIMI

On the 8th of February 2005, Bro. Cook's 1984 Holiday Rambler motor home would not start. GSBM called Pastor Lynn McClain (First Baptist Church of Kenwood, Fayetteville, Georgia) to assist, and he in turn called Mr. Rob Wilson, a member of his church who owns a BP service station. Mr. Wilson sent Earl, his meachanic, who was able to repair the wiring so that Bro. Cook could continue to Florida.

There are two more Pastor's Training Schools scheduled for 2005. If you would like an application or more information, call (256) 329-3436 or go online at God greatly blessed in the PTS held in New Caney, Texas in February. Here are some comments from some of the men who attended.
We that are ministers for Christ often find ourselves at the end of our "rope". It is often difficult to find someone that will really help. I have found it often hard to share my problems because I felt that I was being judged. I never one time felt that at this meeting. I encourage other brothers to come to get help.
Jerry V. Gary - Truitt Chapel Baptist Church - Joaquin, Texas
Never have I been to a meeting where those involved were more concerned about meeting the needs of others. It was evident that the motive for this meeting was to help God's men meet the needs of their churches. I will always appreciate the transparency exhibited by those who instructed and participated in a wonderful week of information and inspiration.
Pastor Glenn Waller - Bible Baptist Church - Greenwood, Mississippi
My goal in coming to PTS was to learn how I could be more effective in doing the job that God has called me to do. I believe that this school supplies a pastor with tools that can be used for the glory of God. However, the uniqueness of the school lies not in the curriculum, but in the love for God's man, and passion to follow the leadership of the Holy Ghost.
Pastor Larry Brinker - Faith Baptist Church of Dulac - Dulac, Louisiana
Scriptural, spiritual, practical, critical . . . the list of adjectives describing the PTS could go on for a while. What a blessing it was to share a week with men of God, both preachers and students, of such varied ages, personalities, talents, burdens, and backgrounds. Certainly the spirit of unity and harmony we experienced during PTS is something that only the Holy Ghost could have induced. We went away from PTS, not only having been challenged and influenced by the fellowship with one another, but with a renewed sense of confidence in our calling.
Pastor Benjamin Laird - Rock Hill Baptist Church - Meridian, Mississippi

Praise the Lord for His watch care as we travel. We praise Him also for the privilege of conducting Pastor's Training Schools and Missionary Training Schools. We praise the Lord for the many churches and individuals who make such a ministry possible by providing finances, skills or their precious time in taking care of others. The GSBM could not operate without your help. We are thankful for those who give to make MTS and PTS possible.

Please read the following notes from some of this year's MTS attendees. Attending this year were missionaries to Ireland; Mexico; China; the Jews in Phoenix, Arizona; the Yavapai-Apache Indians; Romania; Madagascar; Ivory Coast, West Africa; South Africa; Philippines; and Russia. Also attending were two assistant pastors, an evangelist, Source of Light and H.E.L.P Ministries missionaries. As one assistant pastor worte, "This teaching will get more missionaries on more fields in less time. Souls will be won to Christ because of the MTS."

Before coming to MTS, I felt like a 1000 piece puzzle with no picture to go by. Now I know how the pieces fit together to make the big picture. I am so confident to do what God has called me to do - thanks to you.

Presenting workshops were really helpful. We have already gotten excited about changing our presentation, display and prayer letters to reflect what we learned here.
Thomas and Robyn Isaacson-Missionaries to Romania with Evangelization to Eastern Europe
I just wanted to drop you a line and express my thanks for the opportunity to take part in the MTS. I am by no means an expert, but having gone through several schools as a missionary in years past, I appreciated the scope and depth of instruction. Without question, the "foot shooting" and presentation workshops were, in my opinion, priceless. They were as good, if not better, than the reinforcement sessions in the Pastor's School. When given the opportunity, I will, without hesitation, highly recommend this school to any missionary or any pastor whose church is preparing to send out one of their own.
Assistant Pastor Ed Thierbach-East River Baptist Church, New Caney, Texas and former missionary to Black America

Please pray: (1) for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to carry on all phases of the GSBM; (2) for God's hand in providing financial support for the upcoming Pastor's Training Schools and for a great move of The Holy Spirit during these special weeks which change men's lives and ministries; (3) for increased volunteers to network and labor within the ministry, (4) for souls to be saved, and (5) for the Easter's son Mack who will be heading for a 110 day tour in the Mid East at the end of the month with his Air Force Squadron. May God richly bless you.
